Shipping Costs, Taxes and International Orders

You are responsible for the shipping costs associated with the delivery of the products you purchase on the website. The amount of applicable sales taxes and shipping costs is specified in the total amount due. For countries where taxes and customs duties cannot be calculated, you will be required to pay them to the courier at the time of delivery.

For shipments within USA, sales taxes will be charged.

POLITE will assume shipping costs within the territory of USA when the purchase exceeds $500.

For international orders (those shipped outside the territory of Colombia), POLITE is not responsible for applicable taxes, customs duties, and fees. As the recipient, the customer will be responsible for all import duties, customs fees, and local sales taxes imposed by the destination country. Payment of these charges is necessary to release your order from customs upon arrival.

Shipping and Delivery

You assume all risk of loss and damage to the products from the moment they leave our warehouse. Please ensure that your shipping address is correct, as we cannot reroute an order once it has been dispatched from our warehouse. POLITE will not be responsible for delivery errors when the shipping address provided in the order is incorrect, contains inaccurate information, or omits necessary details for proper location.

Please note that if a signature is not obtained at the time of delivery, you accept these terms and conditions: authorizing POLITE to leave the package at the shipping address without obtaining a signature, and releasing POLITE from any liability for any loss or damage that may result from leaving the package at your shipping address without a signature. Delivery times displayed on the website are estimates and should be used as a guide only. Delivery periods will begin to run from the shipping date. Please note that POLITE does not ship to P.O. boxes.

Returns

Merchandise purchased on the website may be returned within six (6) days of receipt. Merchandise must be returned in its original condition, unused, unwashed, unaltered, undamaged, and with original tags attached. Your items must be returned in their original packaging, including boxes, bags, and other packaging materials. If your return does not meet the listed conditions, the package will be returned to you. Damaged returns will not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer. Please note that orders must be returned from the same country to which they were originally shipped. You are responsible for the shipping and customs costs associated with returning the products. To return merchandise, please use the return label provided by POLITE. Please remember that promotional items, sale items, discounted items, and personalized items cannot be returned.

Refunds

Once your package is received, please allow three (3) to seven (7) business days for your return to be processed. When your return has been accepted, your refund will be issued and you will receive a confirmation email. The time required to process your refund may vary depending on the payment method used. • Credit card: our bank will process your refund within seven (7) business days following the confirmation email of return acceptance. The time it takes for the credit to appear in your account depends on the credit card issuer. Shipping costs and import taxes or other duties and taxes paid are non-refundable.
